Dr. Wardak is a board-certified anesthesiologist committed to providing patients with a safe and pain-free surgical experience.
About Dr. Wardak
A native Houstonian, Dr. Wardak pursued a career in anesthesiology because of the unique combination of procedures and physiology that the field offers. She particularly enjoys being able to interact with her patients during some of the most difficult moments of their life and helping them feel at ease during treatment.
Dr. Wardak worked in a high acuity hospital setting with Dr. Alfi for over 10 years. Here, she performed anesthesia for large head and neck tumors and complicated oral surgery cases, and honed her skills as an anesthesiologist and difficult airway enthusiast. In 2022, Dr. Wardak joined Alfi Oral, Dental Implant & Facial Surgery to perform office-based anesthesia. She is thrilled to be part of an innovative practice where she can spend more time with patients and have more of a direct impact when it comes to her patients’ care.
Dr. Wardak’s top priorities are ensuring her patients’ safety and comfort, and she tailors the anesthetic plan to each patient’s medical history. To help patients feel at ease, she listens to and thoroughly addresses their concerns while planning their care accordingly.
Education & Residency
Dr. Wardak studied biology and Spanish at the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 2007 and completed her anesthesiology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2011.

Hobbies & Interests
With a lifelong love of learning, Dr. Wardak is constantly trying new hobbies, learning new languages, and trying new instruments. She is an avid traveler and loves to venture off the beaten path, and is a mom of two crazy and enthusiastic kids.
